Delicious

I could have gone on all night bookmarking tons of sites, but here are a few of the zillion sites I now have in my account.

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ tags: stamping, tutorials, cards, gallery

http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/ tags: tutorials, digital, scrapbooking, gallery, freebies

http://www.cyndislist.com/ tags: genealogy, lists, Canada, census, cemetry, records

http://www.photoshoproadmap.com/ tags: Photoshop Elements, tutorials, photo_editing

I will continue to use Delicious. I like the fact that 'My Favorites' are stored off of my computer. That way if something happens to my computer, either through hardware or software failure, or human failure (like when my husband reorganized my many hundreds of favorites and lost a few along the way). I also like the way I can share my favorite links with friends and acqaintances with them actually being on my computer. I have several hobbies that I depend on various web sites and finding good ones is fantastic. This way I can share what I have found and vice versa with friends. I will just have to convince them to use delicious too.

I also noticed today that when I was doing some genealogy searching that some sites like the Canadian census have a link on their web page right to Delicious and a few other similar sites. Now I understand what the clouds are about and like the idea of being able to add a Delicious badge to my blog. I had started using Google Bookmarks before, but I think I like this site better.

You Tube Video

A project I want to try: Paper bag mini album;

As a visual learner, I really enjoy using using YouTube. All the information you'd ever want is there. I think streaming has become very popular as the videos can be viewed on your own computer and on your own time. I will definitely continue to use YouTube as there is an abundance of instructional information to help me with my favorite hobbies.

I'm here

I am a true Libra. I couldn't decide whether or not to use my existing blog for this course or create a new one. In the end I decided to create a new one, just in case I want to experiement with different features as I go along. Then if something happened, I wouldn't mess my existing blog up.

I have been blogging and using some of googles other features for a few years, after taking an Electronic Publishing course at Mohawk. I decided to take this course, as technology keeps changing (getting better) and I wanted to learn some more about blogging, including short cuts (tricks), and designing blogs. I also want to learn how to make my blog better and to use all the other features taught in the course.
